Reaching your goal
In order to reach your goal it is necessary that you follow a consitent, well-designed program, that provides balanced development to all parts of your body. This includes aerobic as well as strength exercises.

Know your current fitness level
Before you start any fitness program you should consult a physician who will help you determine your current abilities. Especially, if you are an older aged person.

Identify your goals
What is it, you want to reach? Goals are critical to choosing and designing an exercise program that fits and enhances your lifestyle, but so is strategy. It is important not to rush the process and try to accomplish too much too soon.

Select complementary exercises
Be sure to pair exercises that address compound joint movements and single joint movements. In addition, select exercises that address complementary muscle groups.

Put first things first
During each session, first work muscle groups that need the most training (large muscle groups like legs, chest, back etc.).

Don't forget your cardiovascular component
You need to stick to a fitness program, that contains a cardiovascular fitness component. It is important for your progress to add aerobic exercises such as walking, running or bicycling.

Variable your workout routine
There are training variables, that will make your workout more flexible like:

  • Training Frequency
  • Training intensity
  • Training volume
  • Rest intervals

Use them to keep your workout in progress and stop your body to adopt to your routine.
